This morning was full of unusual treats, like getting to drive to work (instead of take the bus) and consequently getting to hit the McDonald’s drivethrough. After dropping BD (baby daddy) off at the light rail, giving him a public transportation pep talk and handing him a bag of McD’s, I was off.
About three blocks later a much bigger treat came my way. The pulsing sensation in my lower left abdomen that I at first attributed to the McMuffin, then to a possible spider setting up shop in my bladder, and then to the miracle of miracles: my baby practicing for A Chorus Line!!! What a humble beginning, being mistaken for a McMuffin. And yet, such a joy!!
